Our Contract 

This forms the contract between the Clinician and client for therapy purposes.

Consultation

Our consultations are free of charge and usually take place on the telephone. 

Once we have an idea of the service you're looking for and how we can help, we will book you in for your first session. 

Session Duration & Frequency

Your first session will usually involve an overview of how therapy will work and what you can expect during sessions.

Sessions will last 50 minutes and take place at the same time each week unless otherwise requested. 

A £20 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the remainder of the session fee can be paid on the day of therapy.

Cancellation Policy

48 Hours notice is required for cancellations of your appointment. 

We will always try our best to accommodate any re-bookings as soon as possible for you 

Cancellations are charged at your deposit amount for your weekly session.

Confidentiality / Limits of Confidentiality

All matters discussed will be private and confidential with the exceptions of situations which I am
bound by duty to progress or report. These are:

- Where there is any perceived or actual risk of serious harm to others or significant harm to the self. 

- Where information relating to terrorism is shared

- Where child abuse is disclosed along with identifying information

 

There may be occasions where we need to contact your GP for safe guarding purposes. This may be due to medication checks which may have contra indications to therapy, or for mental health concerns. By giving the name and details of your GP and signing our contract for therapy, it is deemed you give your consent to this. 

Privacy / GDPR

Your personal information and therapy notes / records will be kept strictly private and confidential and in accordance with GDPR / Data Protection requirements.

Ethical Considerations

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and registrant member of both the National Hypnotherapy Society and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
